One-Punch Man Season 3 Is Moving Forward (By 2027)
Without a doubt the most shocking revelation, the much-discussed disaster that was season 3 of One-Punch Man wasn't enough to halt further production. Season 3 will be back with a second cour in 2027—so far away they might as well have called it season 4. Adding to the surprise, the studio J.C. Staff will continue to be at the helm. At least this time, director Shinpei Nagai is attached to direct from the outset, which might be a hopeful indicator. Yet, the key visual for the new episodes is identical to the one used for season 3, just with protagonists Saitama and Garou oriented differently. This leads one to believe that, at this point, they could be mocking the fans.
The Ruri Dragon Series Is Poised to Be the Premiere Shonen Jump Anime Produced By Kyoto Animation
Kyoto Animation has forged a name for being an elite animation studio, distinguishing itself not just for the superb artistry of its output but for the good working conditions of its employees—a uncommon practice in the industry. Unexpectedly, until now, it had not produced an anime based on a manga serialized in Shonen Jump, arguably the most iconic magazine in the industry. Ruri Dragon will break that tradition, and what a superb choice it is. The manga by Masaoki Shindo became a huge following when it debuted in 2022 after just a few chapters, but then went into a lengthy break due to the author's health issues. When it returned with a more relaxed pace, the series demonstrated it hadn't lost the fans' appreciation and positive sentiment, and now the community is ecstatic about the upcoming KyoAni adaptation.

Kingdom is the top-selling, decades-spanning Shueisha manga that is other than One Piece. If you've are unfamiliar with it before, it's because it only just received an English release, but the anime has been running for some time, and its sixth season was another stellar entry. Apparently that was just the first half, because a "sequel" has been confirmed as in production, and it will probably air in 2026.
Science Saru Will Adapt A Witch in Mongolia To Anime
One more studio known for the superior craftsmanship of its work, Science Saru has given us critically acclaimed works of the quality of Space Dandy, Devilman Crybaby, and, more recently, Dandadan. This time, the studio will be producing the adaptation of Tomato Soup's manga A Witch's Life in Mongol, which is based on the actual historical person of Fatima, an prominent woman and thinker in the Mongol Empire in the 13th century. Based on the trailer, the anime called Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia will have a distinctly fresh and fascinating visual style, which evokes Ranking of Kings. Debuting in July 2026, this one will absolutely be on my watchlist.
