This young athlete boasts impressive online following
The young golfer can count on numerous high-profile supporters when she starts her professional golf debut later this week.
The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.
Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, operates several courses worldwide and frequently plays against his granddaughter.
"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially told me to go out there and relax," she explained.
"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's rather occupied."
Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and has the 461st position in AJGA rankings.
But she can seek guidance from golf legend, in a relationship with her mother.
"He is the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He told me to compete, have fun, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge some of the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically reaching the next generation.
Kai has a massive following and recently launched a personal fashion and living label.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
